Homemade bread [Jul. 1st, 2004|09:26 am]

Last night I stopped by the Rescue Mission (which, p.s., was packed full of good stuff - must be due to garage sale leftovers?) and bought myself a bread machine! It looks brand new and was only $5, so I figured it was worth the gamble. I've been curious about them for a while now. Does anyone have one? If so, do you use it? Know of any good places for recipes?

It didn't come with the manual so I'm going to have an interesting time figuring it out :)

My other fun finds were an beginners knitting book ($.99), a roll of raffia ($.50), a little pink H&M purse ($.99) and a post-bound photo album ($.99) that I am going to cover with pretty fabric. I got my shopping fix.

I also got my bread machine for $5, at an auction! I was SO excited for getting it so cheap, found out it was over $100 in savings. =) I go through phases where I use it a bunch then put it away for a little while.

I always get my recipes from allrecipes.com it has some great ones plus there are reviews of most of them so you can judge weather or not you want to try it out based on those too.
